Trent Stroh

Bass, Band Leader

Trent StrohTrent’s formidable musical background, his patience, and his passion for his instrument all translate into an effective teaching style which benefits any student lucky enough to study with him.

Trent began his music career at age ten when he heard John Paul Jones of Led Zeppelin play the bass for the first time: "I immediately knew what I wanted to do.”

Trent was active in music programs throughout his school years and went on to become an award-winning bassist with the Studio “A” Jazz band at Los Angeles Valley College. He also attended the influential Dick Grove School of Music where he studied with Joel Di Bartolo (the “Tonight Show”) and Tim Emmons (L.A. session bassist) and has studied privately with Steve Bailey (Victor Wooten, Bass Extremes).

Trent’s touring history includes an impressive array of artists including seven years with Eddie Money, dates with Robert Palmer, Nancy Sinatra, classic rock stars America, Wayne Kramer of MC5 fame, and many other major recording artists and producers.

Trent still occasionally tours with various bands as his strong lead and backup vocal abilities make him a “first-call” choice. Trent is currently lending his amazing talents as frontman for Bridge of Sighs, a Robin Trower revival band which has evolved into something much more than Trower. Give your ears a treat and visit
